MICA Grassroots DesignFest 2021, sponsored by the T. Rowe Price Foundation, took place virtually on Zoom across a week with 19 nonprofit organizations and 116 designers, including undergraduate students, graduate students, and professionals. DesignFest included students from Art and Design High School, Bowie State University, Dartmouth College, Johns Hopkins University, MICA, McDaniel College, Stevenson University, Towson University, University of Baltimore, and UMBC, University of Nebraska.
